Standard Translation
Commonly requested for Personal or Business use.
Standard Translations are interpretive translations that convey the meaning or intention within the original source. They are informal translations where certifications or attestations are not required, but professional translation with appropriate terminology is still desired.
Standard Translations are delivered in an editable Microsoft Word format (doc or docx files). We can also edit directly within formatted documents, such as PowerPoints, One Notes, and PDFs, as well as within pages of websites with appropriate access rights.
Commonly used by individuals to translate instructions, sales paperwork, purchase agreements, and legal documents such as wills and trusts.
Commonly used by businesses to translate client forms, contracts, template client letters, instruction manuals, employee handbooks, and to convert pages of their business website.

Certified Translation
Commonly requested for official use.
Certified Translations are literal, word-for-word translations of all visible words within the original source. They are most often used for official use by schools, or to be filed in legal proceedings, such as with immigration (USCIS) or courts. In these cases, the client requires a certification with the translator’s attestation to the accurateness and completeness of the translations, and that they (the translator) are fluent and qualified.
Certified Translations are reproductions of the original source, and therefore require meticulousness in translation and strictness in formatting. Certified Translations are delivered in a PDF format that cannot be modified.
All Certified Translations go through additional processing steps to ensure successful acceptance. If needed, certifications can be notarized to authenticate the identity of the translator, and the documents with original, wet signatures can also be mailed.

Recover valuable time. We can add source formatting to your standard document translations so you don’t have to.
Our team includes word processors and briefing experts that pride themselves on their attention to detail. By adding “Formatting” to your translation project, we can reproduce formatting specifications to closely match the original source. This includes several details such as margins, paragraph style and spacing, font selection, font size, font style, columns, indentations, and text or image alignment.
